Our business model
Youth Climate Solutions - education, business + policy.
Youth Climate Solutions is committed to achieving a climate conscious future for everyone. The key to addressing this is to work at all three levels: education, business, and policy. By involving all stakeholders we can create collaborative, intersectional, multidimensional solutions that work for everyone.
To achieve this, our social enterprise has developed a cross-companion revenue model. We generate profit by providing climate consultancy services, which involve conducting and creating bespoke audits, climate action plans and training programmes for private schools, businesses, and councils. This profit then funds the educational consultancy, courses and events that we provide to state schools and students for free.
We also source all of our resources second-hand (from charity shops) or from nature, keeping our carbon footprint and costs, as low as possible and our business model as circular as possible.
