Whether you are a local or county council member, we can help you and your team reduce your environmental impact and develop sustainability centred branding through our Climate Consultancy for Councils. So whether your looking for green initiatives, staff training or sustainable business development we've got you covered.
We will assess your: Energy Efficiency, Water Management, Waste Management, Transport, Biodiversity and Greenspaces and any green policies/initiatives/projects.
We use participatory research methods such as the Nominal Group Technique, interviews, and surveys to discuss these areas with a variety of staff members, operational, admin and management.
With the results of this research, we will create issue maps using the DPSIR framework to understand the problem, drivers, impacts and potential solutions.
This Audit will advise improvements to be made within both the Staff and Brand and Business Development Workshops as they may be cultural, operational, or part of policy.
We will advise and inform staff on Climate issues that relate both to your external environment (PESTLE) and themselves as people.
This will include using the Nominal Group Technique to create influence diagrams and discuss potential Risks and Opportunities.
The second half of the workshop will include discussions and interactive group activities around potential solutions/ opportunities for the council or themselves to become more sustainable and looking at coping methods for eco-anxiety.
The workshops will last 1-2 hours and are for groups up to 60.
We can support your council in meeting Corporate Social Responsibility targets, such as supporting local communities, reducing your emissions, or becoming paper-free. Our Sustainability Brand and Business Development course allows policy makers and department managers to evaluate their impact on society and the environment, and promote green policies- boosting their brand image and creating plans for a transition to a sustainability-focused Net Zero future.
This is in person or online course aimed at policy makers/councillors or department managers and can have as many members of staff as you want, and consists of 6, 2-hour workshops.
