About Vsevolod Kolesnik- Head of Marketing

As Head of Marketing at Youth Climate Solutions, I lead efforts to unite businesses, schools, councils, young people and communities in forging a just, safe and sustainable future. Having completed a BA in International Development with Economics at the University of East Anglia, I blend quantitative analysis with social research to shape strategies that resonate and drive impact. 

Over my relatively short lifespan, I’ve had the opportunity to live in Russia, Ukraine, Iran, Egypt, Scotland, the UAE and England. I’ve also contributed to corporate and grassroots initiatives—supporting international marketing campaigns as an intern, assisting on data‑led projects in agile teams and collaborating with stakeholders from community volunteers to senior policymakers. Each experience has reinforced the power of clear communication, creative problem‑solving and evidence‑based storytelling. 

At Youth Climate Solutions, I develop and maintain our brand strategy, manage digital engagement across social and web platforms, and create content that communicates our key messages. I work closely with policy, research and youth‑ambassador teams to translate their insights into campaigns and materials—ensuring every communication is clear, compelling and aligned with our mission. 

Outside of my marketing role, I’ve volunteered on environmental and heritage restoration projects in Iceland, Greece and Russia, experiences that deepened my appreciation for community‑led innovation and sustainable practices. Driven by a passion for data‑driven creativity and ethical sustainability, I’m committed to empowering the next generation of climate leaders.
